Significantly, Soori’s transition from comedian to actor occurred with ‘Viduthalai Part 1,’ marking his debut as a lead actor. His remarkable performance in the film left a lasting impression on the audience, showcasing his impressive acting skills.

An exciting update is that the sequel will feature Manju Warrier, Anurag Kashyap, and Ken Karunas, who did not appear in the first installment.

RS Infotainment, the production house, unveiled the release date yesterday along with a poster, much to the delight of fans. With this announcement, 2024 could conclude with yet another blockbuster.

Helmed by Vetri Maaran, the film’s music is composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja. Vijay Sethupathi takes on the role of Perumaal Vaathiyaar, a character who stands against the police for their brutal treatment of women under the guise of investigations. Meanwhile, Soori portrays a constable eager to prove his worth as a policeman, confident in his sharpshooting abilities and determined to help capture Perumaal Vaathiyaar. Fans will have to wait to see how the story unfolds in Part 2.
