Yuvan Shankar Raja Replaces GV Prakash as Composer for 'Sardar 2'

‘Sardar 2’ is an upcoming film featuring Karthi and serves as a sequel to his 2022 film, ‘Sardar.’ The original ‘Sardar,’ directed by P.S. Mithran, was a spy thriller starring Karthi in the lead role. The music for ‘Sardar’ was composed by GV Prakash. GV Prakash Kumar’s prior commitments may have led to his stepping down from composing for the sequel. He is currently working on numerous film projects as a composer and is also busy with his acting career.

‘Sardar 2’ will primarily explore the backstory from the prequel, ‘Sardar,’ and the makers have retained Rajisha Vijayan from the previous installment.
