Directed by his brother Mohan Raja, the film was a remake of the Telugu hit ‘Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi’. In Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, Jayam Ravi played the role of Arulmozhi Varman.
