AirAsia is proud to honour the remarkable achievements of Asean athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games with the exclusive ‘Olympics Champion Pass’ powered by AirAsia MOVE (formerly airasia Superapp).  As part of its Dare To Dream campaign, this initiative honors Olympic and Paralympic medalists—gold, silver, and bronze—by recognizing their hard work, determination, and remarkable achievements.

AirAsia’s Dare to Dream initiative acknowledges the relentless dedication, perseverance, and resilience of ASEAN athletes who have chased their dreams and accomplished remarkable achievements.

A historic achievement was made by the Asean athletes at the recent Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. These dedicated individuals represented their respective countries and the entire Asean region, showcasing exceptional talent and determination. Their combined efforts resulted in an impressive haul of medals, including 5 gold, 3 silver, and 8 bronze at the Olympic Games, and a remarkable 11 gold, 22 silver, and 20 bronze at the Paralympic Games. This outstanding performance underscores the region’s growing prowess in the world of sports and serves as a testament to the hard work and dedication of its athletes.

These rewards provide athletes with the chance to fly to any of AirAsia’s 130 destinations within its vast network across ASEAN and beyond. Aligned with AirAsia’s commitment to digital ease, medalists can conveniently book flights through the AirAsia MOVE app, ensuring a smooth and optimal travel experience.

The athletes will receive FREE* flights incentives courtesy of AirAsia and powered by AirAsia MOVE (formerly known as airasia Superapp)

Tony Fernandes, CEO of Capital A, said, “Our Asean Olympic and Paralympic athletes have shown the world what can be achieved through having a dream, confidence and grit. No matter the challenges they have faced, they kept pushing forward, and that’s what makes their success truly inspiring. Their journeys reflect the Asean spirit, and we are incredibly proud to honour their success. This initiative not only rewards their achievements but also strengthens AirAsia’s commitment to supporting talent across the region. As we move forward, we will continue to focus our efforts on helping regional talents realise their full potential and connect with the world with their inspirational stories.”

Rudy Khaw, CEO of AirAsia Brand Co. (Abc.) said, “We are incredibly proud and inspired by the sportsmanship, hard work, and dedication displayed by all Asean athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. AirAsia has always been a dream enabler, committed to empowering people to pursue their passions, and through our Dare to Dream initiative, we aim to nurture and celebrate the region’s exceptional talent. It is a privilege to honour these athletes who have not only dared to dream but have also inspired millions across Asean and the world to chase their own aspirations.”
