Balan Kash, the renowned Malaysian rapper, is all set to unveil his first-ever Malay album, ‘Cekap’, which releases tomorrow, 28 September 2024. This highly anticipated project is a commendable effort aimed at elevating Malaysian music to the global stage. The album, a fusion of pop and rap, consists of five tracks that showcase a diverse range of sounds and influences. This project was supported by MyCreative Ventures, under the Ministry of Communications and Digital (Kementerian Komunikasi Dan Digital). As Balan Kash’s debut Malay-language project, ‘Cekap’ highlights his ability to seamlessly bridge cultural influences while staying true to the local context.
