Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s highly anticipated wedding documentary is set to release soon on Netflix. The runtime of the film has been disclosed, and there is speculation that it will premiere on the streaming platform during the festive occasion of Diwali. The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in June 2022 at a luxurious resort in Mahabalipuram. However, the documentary has faced nearly a two-year delay before its release.
The documentary, titled ‘Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale’, has a listed runtime of 1 hour and 21 minutes on Netflix. However, the official release date has yet to be confirmed.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are among the most beloved couples in Tamil cinema. They first crossed paths while working on ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ in 2015 and soon began a relationship. In 2021, the couple got engaged in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members.
Following their lavish wedding in 2022, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan welcomed twin boys via surrogacy in October of the same year. A source close to the couple shared that their wedding documentary will also touch on the birth of their sons and the controversy surrounding it. A report by the Tamil Nadu government later confirmed that the couple had not violated any regulations.
On the professional front, Nayanthara is eagerly anticipating the release of two Tamil films, ‘The Test’ and ‘Mannangatti Since 1960’. She also has a project lined up with actor Kavin, along with a Malayalam film titled ‘Dear Students’, where she stars alongside Nivin Pauly. Meanwhile, director Vignesh Shivan is currently working on his next film, ‘Love Insurance Kompany.
