The highly anticipated Sahi Siva Live in Kuala Lumpur is set to take place tomorrow, 13th October 2024. A press conference for the concert was held yesterday, 11th October 2024, at Haiku Club KL, hosted by Joshua Michael, who will also serve as the concert host. Tanesh has been appointed as the official vlogger for the event and has already begun capturing key moments, starting with Sahi Siva’s arrival in Malaysia.

The press conference saw the attendance of close friends and family of the organizers, along with members of the media. The event kicked off with a captivating performance by Murty, who set an energetic tone for the evening. Murty is also slated to deliver the opening performance at the Sahi Siva Live in Kuala Lumpur concert tomorrow, adding to the anticipation.

As the press conference progressed, the atmosphere became even more electrifying with the arrival of Sahi Siva and Ratty Adhiththan. Their presence instantly heightened the excitement in the room, with fans and media alike eager to hear from the artists ahead of the big day.

Sahi Siva Live in Kuala Lumpur is organized by BWHPK Events, marking their debut in the concert scene. Mathubalan, the founder of BWHPK and the organizer of the concert, shared that while many Kollywood artists’ concerts take place in Malaysia, he aimed to create a platform for independent music and artists on a global scale. This vision led him to feature an independent artist for his first project under BWHPK, highlighting his commitment to promoting diverse and emerging talent in the music industry.

“Sahi Siva Live in Kuala Lumpur is a stepping stone for us. We plan to introduce more initiatives to support and recognize independent artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent,” said Mathubalan.

Arvind Raj, the co-organizer of the concert, emphasized the importance of such platforms and initiatives, stating, “These kinds of opportunities are crucial for building connections between independent artists from other countries and our own, helping to grow the Tamil independent music scene.”

Sahi Siva is currently on his world tour for his new album ‘Unnaale’, with his next stop being Malaysia. Notably, this will be Sahi Siva’s first-ever concert in Malaysia. He has already performed songs from the ‘Unnaale’ album in several cities worldwide, and he’s all set to bring the excitement to Malaysia tomorrow. The audience can expect not only tracks from ‘Unnaale’, but also some of his previous hit songs. Ratty Adhiththan will join him on stage for a special performance, adding to the excitement of the event.

Malaysia is renowned for its vibrant independent music scene, particularly in rap and hip-hop. When asked about his thoughts on the Malaysian independent scene, Sahi Siva remarked, “Without a doubt, Malaysia has been a strong foundation for the growth of rap and independent music. I’ve admired the work of many artists here, and I’m excited about the possibility of collaborating with Malaysian artists in the future.”

Ratty Adhiththan recalled, “There was a time when rap songs from Malaysian artists, like those from the ‘Vallavan’ album, dominated our playlists. These artists and their music have inspired many to explore Tamil rap and hip-hop. This is the best example of how art should be passed down to the next generation.”

Mathubalan expressed his gratitude to the sponsors for their valuable support in making the concert a success. He acknowledged Bagheera as the official F&B sponsor, Rockstar Changkat as the official after-party sponsor, and Hyperspace, KL as the official pre-party sponsor. Chillout MY was recognized as the official alcohol beverage supplier, while Vogue PR handled the official PR duties. Varnam MY is the official media partner, with Danesh K serving as the official publicity designer. BWHPK Productions is the official production house, and promotional videos were created by Cut It Productions. The concert is further supported by Joshua Michael Entertainment, Good Fellas Entertainment, Taneshh Productions, Music Kitchen, Vikarworld, Ministry of Cakes, Liprosha, Small Mamma, GlamScape, and Podu Step’eh. Mathubalan also thanked his team at BWHPK for their hard work and expressed sincere gratitude to Sumitra for her unwavering support.

The press conference concluded with a memorable photo session and refreshments. However, the excitement is far from over, as it has heightened anticipation for the Sahi Siva Live in Kuala Lumpur concert happening tomorrow. Presented by BWHPK, the event will take place on 13th October at the Bentley Music Auditorium and promises to be an electrifying experience.
