Raaga’s ‘Deepavali Virunthu’ Song – Celebrating Tradition, Togetherness, and Festive Spirit

As everyone prepares to celebrate Deepavali, Raaga has launched its latest Deepavali song, “Deepavali Virunthu,” featuring the talented announcers of Raaga. Each year, Raaga’s Deepavali song evokes nostalgia, taking us down memory lane and enhancing the festive spirit. True to form, this year’s offering has once again captivated us with its vibrant energy and heartfelt message.

The song was composed by the acclaimed music director Shameshan Mani Maran, with lyrics penned by Vikadakavi Magen. It features performances from all the Raaga announcers, including Vikadakavi Magen, Kogu, Kabil Ganesan, Vikneswari, Suresh, Yashni, Maaran, Uthaya and others.

Shameshan’s music has always been a favorite among listeners, with hardly anyone able to resist his melodies. Once again, he has captivated audiences with his composition for this year’s Raaga Deepavali song, blending traditional celebration with fresh energy. Adding to its charm, Magen’s catchy lyrics and his unique rap verse bring an entirely new dimension, giving the song a distinctive flair that stands out. This collaboration between Shameshan’s memorable melodies and Magen’s creative wordplay makes this year’s Raaga Deepavali song a true festive anthem, resonating deeply with the audience.

“Raagavil Virunthu” beautifully captures the essence of Deepavali, celebrating the joy, togetherness, and tradition that define the Festival of Lights. The music video highlights heartwarming scenes of family members coming together for Deepavali preparations, from cleaning the house and decorating it to making traditional sweets and getting ready for the festivities.
