GV Prakash’s first-ever international concert, aptly titled A Celebration of Life, took centre stage at the Bukit Jalil National Hockey Stadium on Saturday, delivering a breathtaking display of musical brilliance and versatility.
From soul-stirring melodies to electrifying rock anthems, rap hits, and Tamil folk classics, the concert was a remarkable showcase of genre-spanning performances that left the 13,000-strong audience thrilled and exhilarated.

The renowned Indian composer, singer, and actor poured his heart into every performance, choosing Malaysia as the venue for his international debut in a heartfelt tribute to his dedicated fanbase.
The night began on a high note as GV Prakash, donning a striking black and gold hussar jacket, made his grand entrance to the iconic background score from Aayirathil Oruvan (2010).

The crowd’s ecstatic cheers set the tone for an evening filled with nostalgia, energy, and deep emotion.
The concert kicked off with singers Tippu, Haricharan, and Anthony Daasan performing GV Prakash’s debut composition, “Veyilodu Veliyadi” from Veyil (2006). This set the stage for a journey through his illustrious career.
Joining him on stage, prominent singer Saindhavi delivered a series of enchanting melodies, including “Pirai Thedum” from Mayakam Enna (2011), “Pookal Pookum” from Madrasapattinam (2010), and “Ellu Vaya Pookalaye” from Asuran (2019).
The crowd remained on their feet throughout the night as GV Prakash performed hit songs such as “Yathe Yathe,” “Kaadhal En Kaadhal,” and fan favorites from blockbuster films like Raja Rani and Thandavam.

One of the night’s most poignant moments came during a heartfelt tribute to the late legendary playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam (SPB).
GV Prakash and his team performed “Ayyayo” as an emotional homage to the music maestro, sharing touching anecdotes about their collaborations.
Adding an extra dose of energy to the evening, local hip-hop icon Yogi B wowed the audience with electrifying performances of “Engaeyum Eppothum” and “Warriors” from Aadukalam.

His commanding stage presence and fiery delivery made him one of the standout performers of the night.
Rising Malaysian star Arulini Ashwiinaa further enriched the event with her powerhouse vocals, adding a unique local flavour that resonated deeply with the audience.
