Unity Music Fest: Nammeh Kaigeh 2.0 was a musical event held on February 28, 2026 (Saturday). This festival aimed to celebrate Malaysia’s rich diversity, showcasing its multiracial community through music and performance.

Organized by RG Creations and supported by the Ministry of Communications through MyCreative Venture Sdn Bhd, the event was funded under the Dana Persembahan Muzik programme, which promotes and supports music and cultural performances.

Cultural Performances

On that night, our local artists showcased many performances, successfully achieving the festival’s objectives. The highlight of the event was the diverse range of musical instrument performances, which included:

  • Kompang (a traditional Malay musical instrument)
  • Chinese Drums
  • Urumi Melam (a traditional Indian musical performance)

In addition to these, there were numerous cultural performances featuring dancers from various ethnic backgrounds, who displayed their traditional dances throughout the event.

Cross Cultural Singing

In addition to cultural performances and traditional musical instrument displays, the highlight of the night was the live singing by our renowned Malaysian artists. The event showcased Malay singers performing Tamil songs, Indian artists singing Malay and Chinese songs, and Chinese artists presenting both Malay and Chinese songs. This moment truly reflected the diversity and unity of our Malaysian community.  Some of the celebrated local artists who performed included Suki Low, Santesh, Psychomantra, and Zubir Khan.

Furthermore, the pride of Malaysia, Darkkey Nagaraja, entertained the audience with his popular track Puli Puli. This song gained widespread popularity after being featured in the well-known Tamil movie Good Bad Ugly, starring Ajith Kumar.
