Writing a story is not a simple task. While anyone can write, crafting a narrative that captivates readers is a challenge that requires talent and creativity.

Around the world, including in our own country, there are many gifted writers who have demonstrated their ability to create compelling stories.

Among these talents is a remarkable 7-year-old boy named Nhimalan Kumar, who has recently made waves as an author.

Nhimalan, a Year One pupil from Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (T) Ladang North Hummock in Setia Alam, has astounded many by writing a thriller book titled “Marma Desathil Oru Manthira Patti”.

This book, consisting of 10 captivating chapters, was entirely born from Nhimalan’s vivid imagination.

His extraordinary talent and creativity shine through in his ability to craft such a story without the extensive research that most authors undertake.

Remarkably, Nhimalan has memorised the entire book and can recite it verbatim, showcasing his phenomenal storytelling ability.

Nhimalan’s journey as a storyteller began at the tender age of five, a testament to his innate gift for narrating and creating stories.

His exceptional achievement has been recognised by the Cholan Book of World Records as a first-of-its-kind accomplishment.

This recognition was commemorated on 28th September 2024 in Klang.

Furthermore, his inspiring story caught the attention of Minnal FM, where radio jockey Tresa Lazaroo celebrated his success on her social media platforms.

In a heartfelt video, she shared that Nhimalan had nurtured his ideas for two years before transforming them into a published work.

Priced at an affordable RM10.90, “Marma Desathil Oru Manthira Patti” is now available for purchase.

Readers can find the book at their nearest bookstores or contact his father, Vijayakumar, at 012-6436034 to secure a copy.

This young author is already working on his second thriller book, promising yet another imaginative and engaging read.

Nhimalan’s story is a beacon of inspiration, proving that age is no barrier to achieving greatness.

His dedication, imagination, and passion for storytelling serve as a powerful reminder of the incredible potential within young minds.

As Malaysians, it is our collective responsibility to nurture and support such exceptional talent.

By doing so, we not only empower individuals like Nhimalan to reach greater heights but also uplift our community as a whole.
