Following the success of Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan is now immersed in two exciting projects. He is collaborating with AR Murugadoss on one film, while the other is directed by Sudha Kongara. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, the actor shared insights and thoughts about both upcoming ventures.
Discussing the first project, tentatively titled SKxARM, Sivakarthikeyan described it as a commercial action entertainer with a unique twist, distinct from typical films in the genre. He also revealed that 90 percent of the shooting has been completed. “Murugadoss sir is currently working on Salman Khan sir’s project. Once he wraps that up, we’ll complete the remaining portions of this film,” the actor explained.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Shabeer Kallarakal, and Vikranth. Sivakarthikeyan also highlighted the impressive work of the film’s director of photography, Sudeep Elamon, noting that his contribution adds a unique and captivating element to the project.
“We wanted something unconventional in the film, as the story calls for it,” he remarked.
Sivakarthikeyan also revealed an exciting detail about the Sudha Kongara directorial, sharing that Jayam Ravi will be playing the antagonist. “The most thrilling aspect is having Jayam Ravi sir in a powerful negative role. I was delighted when I heard about it, as it’s a very strong character,” he said. The film’s cast also includes Sreeleela and Atharvaa Murali, with GV Prakash Kumar composing the music. Speaking about his experience working with Sudha Kongara, Sivakarthikeyan noted her meticulous preparation.
“We don’t have many questions because she plans everything in advance. We just show up and ask her what needs to be done. Her energy is always infectious!” he added.
With Sivakarthikeyan delivering the biggest blockbuster of his career, all eyes are now on his upcoming projects and the exciting scripts he is working on. As anticipation continues to build, audiences will have to stay tuned for more updates on his future ventures.
