The recently renovated kindergarten in Desa Changkat Indian Settlement, which caters to 25 students, is now ready to welcome its young learners. Beginning this year, the upgraded facility will provide a more conducive learning environment for kindergarten students. A newly constructed community hall next to the kindergarten is now fully available for public use. The official opening of the kindergarten building was officiated by Batu Gajah Member of Parliament V. Sivakumar, marking a significant milestone for the local community.

The kindergarten had been functioning for many years in a rented house. The Member of Parliament for the constituency noted that RM95,000 in funding was allocated to renovate the building.

Additionally, in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year festival, food baskets were also provided to the Chinese community.

He expressed his gratitude, highlighting that the successful renovation and opening of the kindergarten were the result of the effective leadership and dedicated efforts of Indian Settlement village head Shah Raveen and Rukun Tetangga chairman Raghu Auli.
