Dhruva Natchathiram is one of the most delayed projects in Tamil cinema, directed by Gautham Menon and starring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role. Originally scheduled for release in November 2023, the film faced another postponement, leaving fans eagerly waiting for its debut. Recently, Gautham Menon discussed the reasons behind the delays and the challenges faced during the making of the spy thriller in a conversation with Madan Gowri on YouTube.

“In my efforts to release Dhruva Natchathiram, I encountered significant challenges, with no one stepping forward to help or address the issues. Despite facing these obstacles, there was a clear absence of support, forcing me to tackle the difficulties alone. The entire experience felt isolating, as if the film’s struggles were of no concern to anyone else.
Even today, when a film achieves success, it is often met with surprise rather than genuine joy. There seems to be a prevailing attitude of reluctance to celebrate success stories. It’s disheartening to witness how the satisfaction of accomplishment is overshadowed by doubt or indifference, rather than being embraced as a shared victory,” he shared.

He went on to say, “For ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, the film’s survival is solely due to the immense anticipation and backing from the audience. The excitement and steadfast support from the viewers have been the driving force behind the project’s endurance, demonstrating that the true power of a film lies in its bond with the audience, especially when there is a lack of external support.”
‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ stars Vikram in the lead, with Ritu Varma, Simran, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Vinayakan, Salim Baig, and Vamshi Krishna playing important supporting roles. The music for the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj, while the cinematography is managed by Jomon T John and Manoj Paramahamsa.
