Filmmaker Mysskin has issued a public apology on the following issue caused by controversial remarks during “Bottle Radha” film event. The incident went viral and sparked widespread criticism within the industry, with many other celebrities expressing their disapproval. In a recent public appearance at a teaser launch of Bad Girl, a film that was directed by acclaimed directors like Vetrimaraan and Anurag Kashyap, Mysskin took the opportunity to address the controversy and clarify it.
Vetrimaraan who was in the event acknowledged the issue and said, “This is Mysskin’s first public appearance after the ‘Bottle Radha’ controversy. We had a long conversation after that incident, and he said, ‘Points noted, Vetri.’ It’s good to see immediate accountability, and we should all adopt this. Owning responsibility and apologizing when someone is hurt is very important.”

In his speech, Mysskin began by apologizing to those who were affected by his remarks, and said the international was to provide humor as when he was giving the speech the audience laughed about it. He also said it was not to offend anyone. “I ask for forgiveness from everyone, considering you all as gods”.
Acknowledging the criticism, Mysskin highlighted the social message in his films and the importance of love in his storytelling. He shared that his films carry a message of love, compassion and social awareness. I have a deep love for films, people and animals. I sincerely apologize for my remarks and request forgiveness”.
The controversy around Mysskin’s comments had created a bad effect in the industry but his apology and willingness to take accountability have been appreciated by some of the audience.
