After acting in Devil’s Night: Dawn Of The Nain Rouge, actor Napoleon will be seen in another American independent film soon.
Titled Christmas Coupon, the film is directed by independent filmmaker Daniel Knudsen. We met the actor and actress Sheena Monnin, who is part of the principal cast and is in Chennai presently, to talk about their experiences working on the film.
While Napoleon played a museum curator in the first film, in this one, he will be seen as a sports agent.
“The hero is an ice hockey player, and I play his agent,” he informs.
The actor, who admits his English isn’t as fluent as that of a native speaker, says that he has now become accustomed to acting in English films.
For Michigan-based Sheena Monnin, this happens to be her first movie.
She says that it wasn’t until she joined the sets that she really started to enjoy the process. “I was modelling before, and when this opportunity came by, I said yes. When you are modelling, they give you what they want and you need to do exactly that. But here, we changed lines, portions of the script. The entire process evolves every day. I liked this flexibility and the energy on the set,” she says.
She calls Napoleon a professional who really knows how to position himself in front of the camera.
Cannot wait to watch him on screen!
