Magizh Thirumeni’s direction ensures that the theme and tone remain consistent throughout the film, with each shot, scene and color pallette complementing the gripping nature of the storyline and film.
Powerhouse Performances That Carries The Film
Ajith Kumar delivers yet another powerful performance as Arjun, embodying a character that is tough on the outside, and has a soft spot for the one he loves and never gives up in any circumstance. The name of the film itself if VidaaMuyarchi and he definitely makes the audience feel connected to his role and the film. His screen presence and action sequence is nothing but top notch, keeping the audience engaged throughout the film.
Trisha as Kayal brings a very different kind of romantic angle. Her chemistry with Ajith has been long awaited by fans since Mankatha and Yennai Arindhaal. Their scenes together was a treat for those who have been hoping to see them reunite on screen.
One of the standout performances comes from Regina Cassandra as Deepika. Taking on a different character as a negative role, she leaves a lasting impact with her portrayal. Her presence on screen is intense, making the audience truly believe in her role’s motive. From action sequences to emotional depth, Regina carries the role with brilliance, making this as one of the film’s biggest highlights.
Arjun Sarja’s character as Rakshith once again proves why he is one of the most adored action stars in the cinema. His performance, especially in the high energy fight scenes, was executed well maintaining his reputation as an action star.
Beyond the leads, supporting characters by Aarav, Ramya, Nikhil Nair, Ganesh Saravanan and others add even more depth to the film. They played a significant role in the film, each and one of their characters was important and kept the story moving forward and maintained the intensity.
Anirudh’s Composition
The film’s BGM and music by Anirudh played a huge role in elevating it’s impact. Every action sequence is heightened by the BGM, ensuring the audience feel goosebumps and scream in the theatre. Songs like Sawadeeka have already become a trend, making the theatre audience break into dance proving that Anirudh knows how to blend music seamlessly into a film’s atmosphere.
