February is an exciting month for cinema enthusiasts, with a mix of theatrical and OTT releases covering the various types of genres. Whether you enjoy action packed thrillers, romantic or lighthearted entertainers, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a look at the must watch films releasing this month both theatrical and OTT.

Theatrical Releases
1) Simple Manusan 
Release Date: 20th February 2025

Simple Manusan is a Malaysian Tamil language film. Directed by Haran Kaveri and Shobaan, starring Hindra Bose, Jayshree, Mogan Chandra Dass, Shamini Ramasamy, Braima Sivagnanam, Ravi Shanker Arumugam, Prakash Aandavan, Puvaneswary Sukumaran, Yawanes Robert, Theva Nayagi and Anubama Vigneswari. 

The film is about the journey of a 32 year old barber in Kuala Lumpur, who despite being content with modern life, struggles with a deep sense of loneliness, he is convinced that marriage is the key to his happiness.

2) Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK)
Release Date: 21st February 

A film that has already intrigued audiences with the gripping trailer and Dhanush’s next directional, NEEK promises an intense and emotional cinematic experience. With a strong narrative and compelling performances by the young actors. The film stars Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan, Siddharth Shankar.

3) Dragon
Release Date: 21st February

Dragon is Tamil language comedy drama film, starring Anupama Parameswaran, KS Ravi Kumar, Gautham Vasudevan Menon, Mysskin, VJ Siddhu, Harshath Khan, Kayadu Lohar, Mariam George, Indhumathy Manigandan, Thenappan and others. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthy. The story was co-written by Pradeep Ranganathan.

4) Agathiyaa 
Release Date: 28th February

Directed by PA Vijay, Agathiyaa is a period horror thriller film starring Jiiva, Arjun Sarja, Raashi Khanna, Edward Sinnenblick, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Radha Ravi, Azhagam Peruma, Indraja Shankar and more.

Release Date: 28th February

Directed by Arivazhagan, Sabdham is a Tamil language horror film that stars Aadhi Pinisetty and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles. Whilst Simran, Laila, Redin Kingsley and MS Bhaskar.

1) Kadhalikka Neram Illai (Netflix)
Released on: 14th February
