The unveiling of the 2025 MSSM Championship Calendar highlights the continued dedication of MOE, MSSM, and MILO® to nurturing young Malaysian athletes through sports. It also outlines the 24 sporting events that will be featured in this year’s national school sports competitions.

The MOE-MSSM-MILO Championship stands as the highest level of school sports competition in Malaysia, uniting the country’s most talented young athletes from primary and secondary schools. This national event serves as a vital platform for students to demonstrate their abilities across a wide variety of sports, ranging from well-loved classics to emerging disciplines.

Celebrating another milestone in their 70-year partnership, this collaboration has played a pivotal role in nurturing young athletes and promoting grassroots sports, in line with MILO® Malaysia’s vision of fostering a sporting nation. Over the years, it has significantly shaped the school sports landscape in Malaysia, leaving a lasting impact on millions of students.

“This championship is not just an ordinary sporting event, but also a symbol of the country’s aspirations in building a better, balanced and ready future generation to face the challenges of the global world. I’m confident that with continued effort and strong commitment, we can achieve greater success and produce more world-class athletes. We need to reach more students by giving them the opportunity to participate in MSSM championships that align with their interests and abilities. We also need to view the organisation of these MSSM championships as a platform for comprehensive change to realise the National Education Philosophy,” said Tuan Haji Azman Bin Adnan, Malaysian Director General of Education.

“MILO® is committed to nourishing future champions and supporting the development of school sports in Malaysia. We believe that sports play a crucial role in building healthy, active communities, embodying our philosophy that ‘Sports is a Great Teacher’. Through sports, individuals develop values like discipline, resilience, and teamwork—lessons that extend far beyond the game and guide them throughout their lives,” said Ng Su Yen, Business Executive Officer, MILO® Malaysia.

This joint initiative is set to inspire the next generation of athletes, encourage healthy lifestyles, and play a vital role in shaping a stronger and more active nation.

As the 2025 MSSM Championship Calendar sets the stage for another exciting year of school sports, the enduring partnership between MOE, MSSM, and MILO® continues to drive the development of young athletes and grassroots sports in Malaysia. With a shared vision of nurturing talent, promoting active lifestyles, and instilling lifelong values through sports, this collaboration remains a cornerstone of the nation’s sporting future.
