Actor-turned-producer, Vijay Sethupathi is one of the busiest actors in Kollywood today. He began this year with Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ and gave an exemplary performance with ‘Super Deluxe’.
He was last seen in the action entertainer ‘Sindhubaadh’ and is now gearing up for the release of his debut Mollywood movie, ‘Marchoni Mathai’.
The teaser and the songs of the film were released earlier and were well-received by the audiences.

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen making his Malayalam debut in with this film with an extended cameo of a celebrity who comes to a radio station in Kerala. The film is said to be a love story between a watchman and sweeper lady which takes place in rural Kerala.
Sanil Kalathil will be directing this venture backed by Premachandran AG. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Sanil Kalathil and Rejish Midhila. Sajan Kalathil will be handling the cinematography while M Jayachandran composed music for the film that also stars Athmiya in the female lead alongside Jayaram, who is currently shooting for ‘Pattabhiraman’, directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam.
Vijay Sethupathi has an interesting lineup of movies like ‘Kadaisi Vivasayi’, ‘Sanga Thamizhan’, ‘Laabam’ and ‘Maamanithan’ in his Tamil. He also has ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ in Telugu.
