As Malaysia embraces the festive spirit of Hari Raya, the country’s diverse communities come together to celebrate in their own unique ways. Among them, Malaysian Indians have been actively sharing their joy through social media, posting heartfelt messages, creative videos, and festive collaborations that highlight the unity and cultural harmony of the nation.  Their content reflects the beauty of multicultural Malaysia, fostering a sense of togetherness during this joyous occasion.

Renowned Malaysian Indian actress Pashini has captivated social media with her viral Serumpun music video. Her recreation of the song has taken the internet by storm, amassing over 1 million views and earning widespread praise. Shahmalarani, the renowned Karate Champion, also joined in the Hari Raya celebrations by sharing a unique and inspiring video. In the clip, a group of young karate students performed their own version of the Serumpun song, blending martial arts with dance in a beautifully choreographed routine designed by Shahmalarani herself. The fusion of karate movements with the rhythm of the song created an energetic and innovative tribute to the festive spirit.

Millennium Arts, another talented dance group, also joined in the Hari Raya celebrations with a unique twist. They shared a captivating performance of the Serumpun song, but instead of wearing traditional Malay attire, they showcased their dance in exquisite Indian traditional outfits. The young champion, daughter of renowned Malaysian rapper Balan Kash, also joined the Serumpun trend, adding her own adorable touch to the celebration. Balan Kash, known for embracing Malaysian unity and diversity through his music, recently released his first full-fledged Malay album, Cekap. Keeping with his passion for cultural harmony, he shared a heartwarming video of his daughter joyfully participating in the Serumpun trend, bringing her own cute and playful flair to the song.

Beyond recreating music videos, well-known influencer David (The Davids) made a heartfelt and meaningful gesture this Hari Raya. He took a group of underprivileged Malay children on a special shopping trip to buy them clothes, ensuring they could celebrate the festive season with joy and dignity. His act of kindness not only brought smiles to the children’s faces but also highlighted the true spirit of Hari Raya—generosity, unity, and compassion.
