PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) anticipates more than two million vehicles on its highways daily for the next three days, starting today, as travelers head back to the Klang Valley after the Aidilfitri holidays.

In a statement, PLUS has highlighted April 4, 5, and 6 as the peak days for return travel. To help reduce congestion, PLUS is advising highway users to plan their journeys using the MyPLUS-TTA digital travel schedule, which can be accessed through the PLUS App.

“The MyPLUS-TTA digital schedule helps travellers plan more efficiently, ensuring smoother traffic flow and a more comfortable journey for all,” read the statement.

As an additional incentive, PLUS is offering prizes totaling up to RM20,000 to highway users who follow the MyPLUS-TTA schedule as part of the ‘Follow MyPLUS-TTA for Hari Raya Aidilfitri’ campaign on the PLUS App.

PLUS has announced that six grand prize winners will receive hotel vouchers valued at RM2,500 each, while 50 consolation prize winners will be awarded RM100 in Touch ’n Go eWallet credits.

To participate, users must register and follow the MyPLUS-TTA recommended travel schedule for PLUS-operated highways and the East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) until April 6.

“The MyPLUS-TTA schedule allows highway users to have a more seamless and enjoyable journey during the festive season,” the statement noted.

PLUS also reiterated its dedication to improving the travel experience by constantly refining its traffic management strategies during busy holiday periods.

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is taking proactive measures to manage the anticipated surge in traffic during the Aidilfitri return journey. By encouraging travelers to use the MyPLUS-TTA digital travel schedule, PLUS aims to ensure smoother traffic flow and a more efficient travel experience. The added incentive of prizes further encourages participation in this initiative, while PLUS remains committed to improving its traffic management strategies for the benefit of highway users during peak travel periods.
