The MySkills Foundation is taking a significant step toward discovering and nurturing young talent in the world of football by organizing a dedicated tournament for players under the age of 17. This initiative is designed to provide a platform for aspiring athletes to showcase their abilities, develop their skills, and gain exposure in a competitive environment. Through this tournament, the foundation aims to identify promising players early on and support their growth as they pursue a future in the sport.

Pasupathi Sithambaram, founder of the MySkills Foundation, announced that eight teams from the Klang district—each made up of seven players—will be taking part in the upcoming tournament. Pasupathi Sithambaram emphasized that the purpose of the tournament is not just to crown a winner, but to nurture and enhance the individual talents of every student taking part.

“This tournament has the potential to transform the lives of students. It’s not merely about determining who wins or who finishes first or second. The true purpose is to nurture the students’ talents and shape their character,” said Pasupathi Sithambaram.

Former national football coach, Datuk K. Rajagopal, emphasized that students should take full advantage of such opportunities and engage in these tournaments in a positive and meaningful manner. “Opportunities like this are rare, and this is an excellent platform. Many students often lack the chance to play, but here, that opportunity is provided. Through this, they can showcase their talents,” said Rajagopal.

The tournament is scheduled to take place on April 27th at the MySkills Foundation grounds in Kalumpang, Selangor.

MySkills Foundation’s upcoming football tournament is not only a valuable opportunity for young players to showcase their skills but also a platform that aims to shape their future in the sport. With a focus on developing talent, enhancing character, and fostering growth, this initiative highlights the foundation’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of football stars.
