After making a strong impact on the big screen, Chiyaan Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2, is set to make it’s digital debut on 24th April. The film will stream globally on Prime Video, bringing it’s gripping story and power packed action performance to audience in over 240 countries and territories.
The S.U. Arun Kumar directional, hit cinema’s on 27th March, will now be available to watch in Tamil along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
From Theatres to Home Screens Worldwide
The film had a good start ahead of it’s theatrical release, having faced a legal issue just a day before the film when B4U Films filed an interim stay at the High Court. However, the matter was resolved, and the film successfully made it to cinemas. Within it’s first five days, Veera Dheera Sooran reportedly grossed over 40 crores, marking a box office run despite it’s pre-release issues.

Now with the shift to OTT, the film is expected to gain more traction particularly among fans of Vikram who may have missed the theatrical experience.
Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2
Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 introduces Kaali, a store owner and devoted family man in Madurai, who lives a peaceful life, but is threatened when his nightmares from his past life re-emerge. As Periyavar Ravi enters Kaali’s life once again, he is forced to navigate a world of violence again.

The film stars Chiyaan Vikram, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Prudhvi Raj, Siddique and Suraj Venjaramoodu. The cast equally played an crucial role throughout the film.
Directed and written by S.U. Arun Kumar, Veera Dheera Sooran is technically a Part 2 of a planned two part saga with Part 1 yet to be filmed yet. The film’s music was composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

With the OTT release just a few days away, anticipation is high, not only for the film to reach wider audience but to also get updates on the prequel.
