It’s a proud moment for SJKT Tun Sambanthan as three of their young gymnasts competed in the MSSD-level Artistic Gymnastic Championships 2025, held from 16th April-18th April at SK Batu 9 Gymnasium in Tanjung Karang.

The annual MSSD (Majlis Sukan Sekolah Daerah) championship brings together students from various schools within the district, offering a competitive platform to showcase athletic talent, discipline, and sportsmanship at a young age. This year’s event saw energetic participation from many schools and SJKT Tun Sambanthan made a mark in the competition.

Representing the school in the Female Under-10 category were Ritishaa Tamilselvan (4P), Rithikka Tamilselvan (4P), Hashini Balakrishnan (3K).

The trio under the guidance of their escort teacher Ms.Sheela, competed with enthusiasm and confidence, standing out for their performance and sportsmanship. Haashini Balakrishanan, secured the third place in the Level 1 Vault event, and earns a bronze medal and a wave of applause for all their achievements.

All the three students received certificates of participation, acknowledging their involvement and effort in the championship. These certificates also serve as a testament to the importance of early exposure to competitive sports, helping young athletes to build confidence, discipline and strong foundation in this sport.
