A 70-member delegation from Malaysia is set to participate in the 6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference, highlighting the nation’s active role in promoting and preserving Saiva traditions on a global platform. Tan Sri Nadarajah, Chairman of the Sri Maha Mariamman Devasthanam, confirmed their attendance.

The 6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference is being jointly organized by the Tirukayilaya Paramparai Dharmapuram Adheenam’s International Institute of Saiva Siddhanta Research, Dharmapuram, and SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Kattankulathur. The conference will take place on May 3rd, 4th, and 5th at SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Kattankulathur, bringing together scholars, practitioners, and devotees from around the world to engage in spiritual and philosophical dialogue.

Tan Sri Nadarajah, Chairman of the Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Kuala Lumpur, will be attending the 6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference, marking another significant milestone in his longstanding commitment to promoting Saiva traditions on the global stage. He will be joined by Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, Deputy President of MIC and Member of Parliament for Tapah and Dato Sivakumar, Trustee of the Mariamman Devasthanam and Chairman of Malaysia Council of Hindu Temples and Hindu Associations  (MAHIMA). All three dignitaries have been given designated slots to deliver speeches at the conference.

This year, under the leadership of Tan Sri Nadarajah, a strong delegation of 70 participants from Malaysia will be representing the country at the prestigious event. The conference is expected to welcome delegates from across the globe, uniting scholars, spiritual leaders, and devotees in a shared dialogue on Saiva philosophy, culture, and heritage. Their collective participation underscores the vibrant role Malaysia continues to play in the international Saiva community.

The Sri Maha Mariamman Devasthanam not only organises events and conferences locally but also actively takes part in international conferences around the world.

The participation of Malaysian representatives, led by Tan Sri Nadarajah, at the 6th International Saiva Siddhanta Conference is a proud reflection of the country’s ongoing commitment to preserving and promoting Saiva heritage on the world stage. As the Malaysian delegation joins global thinkers, devotees, and scholars in Chennai, their presence reinforces the importance of cultural exchange and spiritual unity. With continued involvement in such international forums, Malaysia remains a key voice in the global Saiva community, fostering deeper understanding and connection across borders.
