Priya Bhavani Shankar and Aishwarya Rajesh are the latest additions to Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. Shankar will be directing the magnum opus alongside with a huge team.
The film, for which a test shoot was done earlier, will go on floors again by August 19, and Priya will be part of this schedule.
According to the makers, Priya Bhavani Shankar’s role will be a crucial one. She and Siddharth will be seen in characters that will appear alongside Kamal’s character throughout the film.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rajesh is expected to join the set by late September or early October.
Indian 2 already has Kajal Aggarwal, who is said to be playing the female lead.
The film had been put on hold following financial issues as the production house was concerned with the ballooning budget, but now, Kamal and Shankar seem to have managed to convince them to continue with it.
