If you don’t already know it, we are huge fans of this homegrown dusky, elegant model, Vanizha Vasanthanathan. She recently (once again) took our breaths away with her spread on the July version of GLAM Malaysia.
Inspired by a painting completed in the early 1900s, Vanizha poses as The Lady in Gold: Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I by Gustav Klimt. In 2006, the painting was sold for a whooping $135 million and a 2015 film ‘Woman in Gold’ was made to narrate the story of Maria Altmann’s escape from Austria and repossession of Adele Bloch-Bauer I.
Under the art direction of Mahirah Nadzlim, the shoot is styled by Aizat Aidid, the fashion director of GLAM and photographed by Aaron Lee. The vision was created by Sahir Sabri and @ckayliow.
