Mr.Pint Is on the Hunt: Guinness Launches Search for Malaysia’s First Chief Pint Officer

Office workers across the Klang Valley have been doing double takes this week as a surprise visitor crashed their lunch breaks, team meetings, and even pantry gossip sessions. Dubbed ‘Mr.Pint’, this pint-sized mischief-maker has been making unexpected appearances but it turns out, he’s not causing chaos. He’s on a mission.

Behind the playful pop-ins is none other than Guinness Malaysia, launching a nationwide hunt for the country’s very first Chief Pint Officer (CPO) and Mr.Pint is leading the charge.

The Tilt Test Challenge Is On

To qualify for the title of CPO, Malaysians are being invited to take part in a fun challenge known as the Tilt Test. The rules are simple but serious, at least for lovers of a perfect Guinness pour:

  • SPOT a perfectly poured Guinness Draught
  • TILT your glass gently (that creamy head better stay put)
  • SNAP a photo or video of the Tilt Test in action
  • POST it on Instagram Stories, tag @GuinnessMY, and use #GuinnessTiltMY

Each submission boosts your rank on the Tilt Test leaderboard, with the top 20 entries advancing to the final round.

What’s in It for the Winner?

The coveted Chief Pint Officer title comes with more than just bragging rights. The grand prize includes:

  • An all-expenses paid trip to the Guinness Storehours in Dublin
  • Monthly Guinness goodies to enjoy
  • Exclusive invites to VIP events and Guinness experiences
  • The ultimate honour of being the face of perfect pints in Malaysia

Mr. Pint Is Still Out There

Mr.Pint will continue his nationwide appearance throughout July at select bars, demonstrating what a perfect pint really looks like. Fans are encouraged to catch him in action, take the Tilt Test, and start climbing that leaderboard.

But if you don’t spot him. Don’t Worry, Guinness Draught in a can is also eligible. Just pour it properly into a clear glass, do the Tilt Test at home and post it to join the hunt.

So whether you’re a seasoned stout lover or just here for the vibes, this could be your chance to turn passion into title. Could you be Malaysia’s first Chief Pint Officer? Tap into the challenge and may the best pint win!
