Abishan Jeevinth is set to return to acting in Soundarya Rajinikanth’s upcoming feature film. Previously, Abishan made his mark as a director with his debut project Tourist Family, featuring Sasikumar and Simran in the lead roles.
Abishan takes on the lead role of Sathya in the film, which is currently being made under the working title Production No. 4. The project is produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth, alongside Pasilian Nazerath and Magesh Raj Pasilian, with filming already in progress under the banners of MRP Entertainment and Zion Films.
Soundarya Rajinikanth’s most recent directorial project was Velaiilla Pattadhaari 2 in 2017, the sequel to the 2014 hit Velaiilla Pattadhaari. Both films featured Dhanush as Raghuvaran, a civil engineer striving to overcome challenges in his professional journey.
This upcoming project isn’t Abishan’s first appearance on screen. In Tourist Family, he portrayed a troubled, alcoholic youth struggling with the loss of his mother while enduring the hostility of his community. Released on April 29, the film received positive reviews from both critics and audiences.
With Production No. 4, Abishan Jeevinth steps into a new phase of his career, taking on a lead role under the direction and production of Soundarya Rajinikanth. Backed by experienced producers and established banners, the film marks an exciting collaboration and a promising addition to both Abishan’s journey as an actor and Soundarya’s return to the big screen.
