Biopics are the flavour of the season, especially sports biopics.
While Bollywood is busy with doing biopics on Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu and ’83, the biggest sports film that will trace the story of Indian Cricket team when they won the 1983 World Cup, Kollywood is not far behind.
The latest buzz is that Vijay Sethupathi is all set to act in a biopic called ‘800’, in which he will play the role of former Srilankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. The title, we hear, is said to signify the number of wickets taken by the spinner during his illustrious career.
Though there is no official confirmation on the same nor the details as to who will helm the project.
Vijay Sethupathi, meanwhile, is busy with a lot of projects. His Kadaisi Vivasayi will hit the screens soon. He also has Sanga Thamizhan, Laabam, Maamanithan and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in the pipeline.
