Starting September 22, the Smart Lane from Kulai to Senai on the North-South Expressway (NSE) will be closed to make way for the ongoing Additional Lane Project.
The project is aimed at improving the highway’s infrastructure and easing the growing traffic flow between Senai Utara and Kulai in Johor. While the Smart Lane will be shut down, the remaining two lanes will stay open so motorists can still travel with minimal disruption.
PLUS is reminding drivers to plan their journeys early and make use of the PLUS app for real-time traffic updates. Motorists are also advised to pay close attention to traffic signs and follow the instructions of PLUS personnel at the construction site to ensure safety.
