Police Police, a Tamil crime-drama series starring Mirchi Senthil, Jayaseelan, and Shabana, is a blend of action, humor, and investigation, following the tense relationship between a cop and a thief whose lives become entangled

5) The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, has been released on Netflix. The seven-episode satirical drama, produced by Gowri Khan’s Red Chilies Entertainment, offers a genre-blending, behind-the-scenes take on Bollywood and has already generated wide discussions and reviews. 6) The Trial (Season 2)

Kajol returns as Noyonika Sengupta in The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha Season 2, a high-stakes legal drama that premieres on JioHotstar on 19 September 2025. The series which follows Noyonika’s courtroom battles and personal struggles after her family is rocked by scandal drops its new season on the platform and has been widely promoted with an official trailer.

1) Shakthi Thirumagan (Tamil)

Hitting theatres on 19th September, Shakthi Thirumagan is a political entertainer directed by Arun Prabu. With Vijay Antony and Trupthi Ravindra in lead roles, the film aims to mirror real-life socio-political issues while delivering a dose of entertainment. The film is being distributed by Malik Streams Corporation in Malaysia.

2) Kiss (Tamil)

Tamil romantic comedy film Kiss, directed by Satish Krishnan in his debut, is set for a theatrical release on 19th September. The movie explores a storyline where the lead character, known for disapproving public displays of affection (PDA), finds himself unexpectedly falling in love, leading to humorous conflicts. 3) Thandakaaranyam (Tamil)

Starring Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan, this Tamil action-thriller directed by Athiyan Athirai is set for release on 19 September 2025 in theatres. The film features an ensemble cast including Riythvika, Vinsu Sam, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Bala Saravanan, among others. The film is being distributed by FST in Malaysia.
