AirAsia has officially announced the relaunch of its Cebu hub, positioning the city as a fast-growing international gateway and reinforcing stronger connections for local communities across the Visayas and Mindanao.
Beginning 15 November 2025, AirAsia will reopen three key domestic routes from Cebu:
Cebu–Davao: 18 weekly flights
Cebu–Caticlan: 11 weekly flights
Cebu–Iloilo: 4 weekly flights
On the international front, AirAsia will resume its Cebu–Kuala Lumpur service with 14 weekly flights and introduce a brand-new Cebu–Macao route operating 3 times weekly. The airline also revealed plans to explore additional international destinations in future phases, further cementing Cebu’s role as a vital hub connecting the Philippines to the world.

To mark this milestone, AirAsia is offering special promotional fares starting from PHP 118 for travel between 15 November 2025 and 28 March 2026, available exclusively through the AirAsia MOVE app.
This expansion is made possible through strong collaboration with key stakeholders, including Aboitiz InfraCapital Cebu Airport Corporation (ACAC), the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority, and local tourism authorities. Together, these partnerships aim to boost tourism, create jobs, and provide greater travel opportunities for Filipinos.
As part of the celebration, AirAsia will host a Music Festival on 15 November 2025, showcasing some of the country’s top Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists as a gesture of gratitude to the Cebuano community for their continued support.
