“Cahaya Madani, Sinar Perpaduan”: National Deepavali Open House Set for October 18

In conjunction with Deepavali, the Festival of Lights, which will be celebrated by Hindus on October 20, 2025, the National-Level Deepavali Madani Open House 2025 will take place at KL Sentral on October 18.

Organised by the Ministry of Digital with the support of the Ministry of National Unity, the open house carries the meaningful theme “Cahaya Madani, Sinar Perpaduan” — a reflection of the festival’s message of enlightenment, harmony, and compassion.

The event is expected to attract over 5,000 visitors, including people from various races and religions coming together to celebrate this year’s Deepavali.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo are set to officiate the open house, marking it as a key celebration under the government’s Malaysia Madani initiative.

“Cahaya Madani” represents the values of compassion, well-being, and humanity, while “Sinar Perpaduan” embodies the vision of building a Malaysia that is united and respectful across differences — a message deeply aligned with the spirit of Deepavali itself.

Visitors will be treated to traditional Indian food, cultural performances, and art showcases, offering Malaysians a chance to experience the beauty of Indian heritage while strengthening bonds within the community.

The Deepavali Madani Open House stands as a reminder that Malaysia’s diversity is its greatest strength — and that light, in all its forms, continues to shine as a symbol of hope, understanding, and togetherness.
