Malaysia’s top women doubles pair, Thinaah Muralitharan and Pearly Tan, continued their winning streak as they cruised into the second round of Denmark Open with a confident performance.
Thinaah and Pearly defeated Indonesia’s Febi Setianingrum and Rachel Allessya Rose in straight sets, 21-13, 21-17, ending the match in just 35 minutes at Arena Fyn, Odense.
Fresh from their Arctic Open triumph last week, their first title of the season, Thinaah and Pearly showed no signs of slowing down. Their smooth coordination and sharp front court play proved too strong for their Indonesian opponents.

The Malaysians, who were runners-up at the World Championships, will face a tougher challenge in the next round when they take on Japan’s new pairing, Arisa Igarashi and Chiharu Shida.
The world No.2 duo’s steady rise has become a source of pride for Malaysian badminton fans. From overcoming injuries to claiming international titles, their partnership continues to grow stronger with every tournament.
