Perak’s Gopeng Tamil School has been deteriorating for many years due to termite damage. Gopeng MP Tan Kar Hing stated that to resolve this issue, the federal government has allocated RM14 million for the construction of a new building.

Tan Kar Hing pointed out that Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh has officially announced in parliament that Gopeng Tamil School will be rebuilt with a new look. He said the federal government approved this allocation following the request he had previously submitted.
