The opening ceremony was officiated by Datuk Bahriah Mohd Tamil, Deputy Secretary – General of the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), together with Yang Mulia Tengku Dato’ Dr Hishammudin Zaizi bin YAM Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Alhaj and Yang Berbahagia Datin Hezeita binti Mohd Hafidz. The event was attended by Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ senior leadership team, including Managing Director-International Operations Mr Shamlal Ahmed, Regional Head – Far East Operations & Australasia Mr. Ajith M, Malaysia Branch Head Mr. Nijeesh P and Head of Business Development Malaysia Puan Yasheedah Yashaiya, along with industry leaders, valued customers and invited guests.
Adding a touch of elegance to the occasion was the presence of Malaysia’s Royal fashion designer, Dato’ Radzuan Radziwill, who unveiled Malabar’s Hari Raya 2026 gold and diamond collections through the exclusive Aura Aidilfitri 2026 fashion showcase.

A key highlight was the launch of Malabar’s exclusive 21K (875) gold jewellery collection, available only at Malabar Gold & Diamonds. Inspired by contemporary Arabic design elements, the collection caters to modern jewellery enthusiasts seeking distinctive and refined styles. The Raya Collection also features meticulously crafted 22K (916) gold jewellery, including long necklaces and gold bangles in yellow, rose and white gold, designed to appeal to discerning tastes.
Drawing inspiration from 14 countries, the Aidilfitri collection reflects global craftsmanship, cultural diversity and festive elegance, while remaining true to Malabar’s hallmark of quality and trust.
