Nemaline Rod Myoptahy is a rare disorder that effects 1 in 50,000 live births. It is a rare neuromuscular disorder that results from the mutation of one of at least 11 different genes. People who suffer from this will have abnormal curves of their spine, difficulty in walking, difficulty in eating and even breathing. Survival is a fight.

Linda Rao is a prominent figure in the Malaysian scene for her incredible show of strength and the way she embraces life. She was not supposed to see another day past the age of 18, but here she is at 21, thriving to make the best out of every moment. International makeup artist, Vithya Visvendra, and award-winning photographer, Vinoth Raj Pillai, decided to give Linda an experience of a lifetime through a photo series called ‘Lovely Linda’.
For the first time, Linda wore a saree and decked up in bridal jewellery. She wore a brilliant Pattushastra coral and fuchsia pink silk saree that matched her effervescent personality and intricate jewellery by Desire Collections. Vithya worked her wizardry art on Linda’s gentle face, layered fresh blooms in her hair and draped 6 yards of elegance over her body. It was a whirlwind of emotions, a shower of tears and a warm, hopeful day that Vinoth captured through his stills, stopping time and bottling the day for eternity.
