The Deputy Minister of Education, YB Wong Kah Woh, officiated the ICT Equipment (Smart Board) Handover Ceremony to 45 Tamil National-Type Schools (SJKT) in Negeri Sembilan at an event held at SJK (T) Bandar Sri Sendayan. The initiative marks a significant step towards enhancing digital learning infrastructure in Tamil primary schools across the state.

A Collaborative Effort to Modernise Education

This initiative is the result of a strategic collaboration between Yayasan Didik Negara (YDN), the Malaysian Indian Community Transformation Unity (MITRA), and the Ministry of Education Malaysia. It aligns with the government’s on going efforts to strengthen the digital transformation of Malaysia’s education sector and ensure that schools are equipped to meet the demands of 21st-century learning.

Enhancing Teaching and Learning Experiences

The provision of smart board devices aims to support the broader use of digital technology in classrooms, creating a more interactive, engaging, and effective learning environment. With the integration of modern ICT tools, students are expected to be more actively involved during lessons, while teachers are better supported in adopting innovative and impactful teaching methods.
