Ranvir Sachdeva, an eight-year-old, made headlines globally when he became the youngest speaker at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This event focused on the future of Artificial Intelligence and brought together leaders from around the world, including prominent tech CEOs such as Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, and Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI.  Our Malaysia’s Minister of Digital, Gobind Singh Deo, also attended the summit.

As one of the youngest voices at the event, Ranvir stood out not only for his age but also for his insightful views on AI’s role in society. Ranvir shared ideas about how ancient Indian philosophies can connect with modern artificial intelligence, a perspective that intrigued industry leaders.

A Track Record of Early Achievements

Ranvir’s interest in technology began at a very young age. According to reports:

  • He started coding at the age of three.
  • At six, he became the world’s youngest TEDx speaker on technology and innovation.
  • He has showcased his coding skills to major tech leaders, including a one-on-one session with Apple CEO Tim Cook.
  • Ranvir has also participated in global events and met influential figures like UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

These accomplishments have contributed to his reputation as a significant young voice in the tech community, especially in discussions about the future of AI and technology education.

Why His Speech Matters

While the India AI Impact Summit 2026 featured numerous talks from CEOs and experts on policy, technology, and innovation, Ranvir’s participation was particularly noteworthy for the fresh perspective it offered. His focus extended beyond cutting-edge technology to how future generations, especially children, might approach technologies like AI differently.

His story reflects a broader trend of young people engaging with technology at increasingly earlier ages, particularly as countries like India strive to make AI education more accessible.
