The Selangor state government has recently announced an important initiative aimed at assisting Indian students pursuing higher education in the region. Papparaidu Veraman, the Member of Parliament for Banting, shared the news on his Facebook page earlier this month, urging eligible students enrolled in both government and private higher education institutions to take advantage of this opportunity for financial support.

This financial aid program is specifically designed to assist students from B40 families, aiming to alleviate their financial burdens. By providing this assistance, the government hopes to enable students to concentrate on their studies without the added stress of tuition fees and related expenses.

Application Details

Students interested in applying for the financial aid can do so starting from March 2, 2026, until March 13, 2026. The application can be obtained by visiting the Selangor EXCO Office in person. For added convenience, students can also access the application online by following a provided link or by scanning a QR Code featured in the announcement image.

This initiative represents a significant step towards supporting the educational aspirations of Indian students in Selangor, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their academic journey. Students are encouraged to take prompt action to secure their applications during the specified period.
