The Penang Hindu Endowments Board has allocated RM50,000 to aid Indian students currently enrolled in higher education. Last Saturday, the board distributed this financial assistance to a total of 53 students, aimed at ease their financial burdens and enabling them to focus on their studies without worrying about their expenses.
This initiative reflects the board’s commitment to encouraging the younger generation to pursue further education, reinforcing the belief that education is a crucial tool for children from all backgrounds. By providing support to students, the board aims to foster academic growth and success within the community.

In addition to supporting students, the Penang Hindu Endowments Board extended a helping hand to a single mother who recently lost her husband. The board provided RM1,000 to assist her in managing the challenges of raising her eight school-aged children alone. This financial aid is intended to ease some of the financial burdens she faces during this difficult time.
The event was inaugurated by YB Ram Karpal Singh, MP Bukit Gelugor, alongside Penang Endowments Board President RSN Rayer and Vice President Dr Lingeshwaran. The presence of these dignitaries highlighted the significance of the board’s efforts in enhancing community welfare.

The board members firmly believe that initiatives such as these play a vital role in empowering the community and emphasizing the importance of education for every child, regardless of their family circumstances. Through these acts of support, the Penang Hindu Endowments Board strives to create a brighter future for the younger generation and foster a more equitable society.
