An announcement was made by the Ministry of Education Malaysia today, that the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination results will be released on 31st March 2026. In a statement, the ministry has announced 413, 299 candidates who registered for the national examination at 3,350 centres nationwide will be able to obtain their results starting 10AM on the day.
Candidates who sat for the examination through their schools can collect their results directly from their respective institutions. While, private candidates are advised to contact the State Education Department where they have registered to obtain their results.
In order to make this entire process more convenient, MOE has also provided digital platforms for students and parents to check their performance. Candidates can check and access their results online through the official portal at myresultspm.moe.gov.my.
This online portal will be available to access from 10AM on 31st March 2026 until 6PM on 6th April 2026, giving the candidates several days to review their results digitally. The SPM examination is one of the most important academic milestones for Malaysian students, as it determines that eligibility to further studies in universities, colleges, matriculation programmes and other higher pathways.
Every year, there are over thousands of students across Malaysia who sits for this examination, which is typically taken at the end of secondary school. The results often play a significant role in shaping students higher education and career opportunities. With the release date announced and approaching, students, parents and educators across the country are preparing for it.
