The “Aalayam Selvom” programme focuses to encourage the younger generation to visit temples more regularly and understand the importance of worship as part of their daily lives. Organisers hope such initiatives will help young people appreciate spiritual values while also supporting their social and emotional well-being.
During the programme, the students who participated were introduced to basic prayer methods, and temple formalities. They were also taught about the significance of worship and the role temples play in the Hindu community. A question-and answer session was held at the end, giving all the students the chance to ask questions, to deepen their understanding on religious practices.

The temple’s management welcomed the programme and expressed support for similar initiatives in the future. The Temple chairman Selvakumar Shanmugam Chetty and the management team were thanked for their support and arrangements that made the programme possible to happen.
