The innovative School in Hospital (Sekolah Dalam Hospital) programme has officially expanded to Seberang Jaya Hospital in Penang, marking the first implementation of this initiative in the state. Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek announced this expansion, highlighting that there are currently 20 School in Hospital programmes ongoing across Malaysia.

The School in Hospital programme is aimed to support students who are undergoing medical treatments and are unable to attend school regularly. By providing educational services within the hospital, this initiative ensures that students receive the necessary education to keep up with their studies, preventing them from falling behind during challenging times.
