Indian Stars Take Over the Runway at Lakmé Fashion Week 2026

Lakmé Fashion Week 2026, came together as fashion, glamour and celebrity moments we brought to one runaway stage. It took place at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from 19th March to 22nd March 2026. The 4 day event is a partnership with FDCI, which once again proved why it is one of India’s biggest fashion stage.

Lakmé Fashion Week is known for bringing popular designers, celebrities, and current trends on one stage. Every year, designers present their work and collections, while celebrities walk as showstoppers. This year, the runaway was filled with modern looks and bold styles.

Here’s a few Indian stars that stole the runaway stage:

1) Ananya Panday for Rahul Mishra

Ananya Panday opened the show in a full white outfit by fashion designer Rahul Mishra. The look had a crisp shirt, short pleated skirt, and a jacket with detailed embroidery and tiny dragonfly designs. It was simple yet stood out because of the little detailing.

2) Radhikka Madan for NIF Global Designers

Radhikka Madan brought a fun and different vibe with her outfit. She wore a Madras check crop shirt with wide-leg pants inspired by origami designs.

3) Diana Penty for Verandah

Diana Penty kept things light, she wore a navy blue floral kaftan. The outfit gave a relaxed feel, more different than the heavier looks.

4) Tamannah Bhatia for Bhumika Sharma

Tamannaah walked the ramp in a pink and silver lehenga. The outfit had detailed work and was styled with a long dupatta. Her look was more traditional than clothes.

5) Aneet Padda for Pero-Finale

Aneet Padda closed the show in a blue and white floral outfit with patch details, paired with a short jacket.

6) Siddhant Chaturvedi for Max Fashion

Siddhant Chaturvedi added fun to menswear in the runaway. He wore a crisp white jacket decorated with playful booches giving his look a stylish twist.

7) Khushi Kapoor for Aisha Rao

Khushi Kapoor walked for designer Aisha Rao in her ‘Inter-Hana’ collection inspired by Japanese artist Fumi Imamura. The actress wore a shimmering crop top with floral details paired with a matching lehenga that balanced to bold design with soft feminine feel.

8) Aditi Rao Hydari for Satya Paul

Aditi Rao walked for Satya Paul, but this time, it was more special as she stepped in as Co-Creative Director for the collection. With prints like florals, dragonflies, and abstract patter, layered with pieces like sheer jackets and trench coats.

9)  Siddharth for Vivek Karunakaran

Siddharth opened the fashion week on day 1 as the showstopper for Vivek Karunakaran. He wore a brown silk coat paired with draped dhoti pants in earthy tones. The collection is named “The Thangam” which explores South Indian’s collection with gold through menswear. Using fabrics like raw silk, Kanjeevaram and organza.

10) Shanaya Kapoor for Ritika Mirchandani

Shanaya Kapoor’s look was bold in a charcoal pre-draped saree. The outfit had detailed beadwork and was paired with a corset-style blouse. Giving a mix of traditional and modern, showcasing how sarees are being styled.

Lakmé Fashion Week 2026 was not just about clothes, but about how fashion has been changing over time. From lehengas to modern sarees, the runaway had a bit of everything.
