Eight year old duo from SJKT Permatang Tinggi, made their school proud by making an achievement at the Chengdu International Grand Finals. Students Anjhanah Rameswaran and Anjhanie Rameswaran, won the Silver Award at the competition, along with a Top 10 Popularity Award, highlighting their performance excellence among participants from all over the region.

Their journey on international stage started with a milestone made earlier, where they got a Gold Award for Speech Group Performance in the 7-8 year old category at The Speech of Asia 2026. The Asia Pacific International Arts Festival organized that competition in February 2025. It was a qualifying platform that helped them represent Malaysia at the finals in Chengdu, China from 20th March-23rd March 2026.

Their achievement not only reflects confidence and stage presence, but also the dedication and preparation they had behind their performance. Competing against participants from different countries, the twins stood out for their ability to deliver with teamwork, and clarity.
The accomplishment has been celebrated by their school community, with teachers and supporters expressing pride for representing Malaysian on a international platforms at a very young age.
Their success serves as an inspiration to other students, proving how passion and confidence can open opportunities beyond classrooms. As they continue their journey, Anjhanah and Anjhanie’s accomplishment marks the beginning of what promises to be a bright future.
