Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo Somu Supports Students with Laptop Aid to Continue Their Education

Education remains as a powerful pathway for a better future and for Dato’ Seri Sundarajoo Somu, Perai State Legislative Assembly, says ensuring access to it is a responsibility that must be maintained through action.

Recent initiatives, Dato Sundarajoo assisted to 2 students from underprivileged backgrounds by providing them laptops to support their studies. This contribution reflects his continued commitment to ensure that no students is left behind due to financial issues.

The need of assistance came through 2 different encounters. One request was sent by a friend on behalf of a diploma student at Polytechnic Seberang Perai, while another involved a mother he met at a hospital who was seeking help to get a laptop for her child pursuing IT (Information Technology) at a public university.

Moved by their circumstance, Dato Sundarajoo invited both the students to his office, where he personally handed over new laptops to support with their academic journey. Despite their challenges, both of the students had already completed their first semester without access to proper digital tools. This shows their strong commitment and hard work to their education.

Dato Sundarajoo expressed his admiration, saying that their ability to continue learning despite limitation is a proof to this education. He emphasises that opportunities provided today can shape the future of young students.He reaffirmed his belief that education is the key for transforming lives, and promised to continue initiative like this to promote access to more young individuals.
