As Thailand is getting ready for one of it’s annual celebrations “Songkran”. Marriott Bonvoy is inviting travelers to join this celebrations in April. Songkran is considered as Thai New Year, and it is a festival all over the country that combines joyful waterfights with meaningful cultural traditions, transforming Thailand into a lively and exciting place to be during the celebration.

Beyond the capital, Pattaya extends the celebrations with Wan Lai Festival, turning Songkran into a week-long event from 13th to 19th April. The city’s beachfront becomes a vibrant hub of activity, with water battles, parades, and family-friendly attractions like waterparks, to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Phuket and the Southern Coast
In Phuket, Songkran is celebrated in a tropical setting. Patong Beach and Bangla Road are the places to go for nightlife and waterfun. Phuket Town offers a cultural experience with temple visits and traditional street celebrations.
